We planned activities for gatherings where parents and their children come together (like PTA meets). The activities were aimed at pointing out the communication gap in a family, rebuilding a bond between the members of family through games, making each member of the family an equal contributor in decision making and having fun! Here's an example of the same:

"The families will be asked to pair up for two tasks, one pair will do the cleaning activity the other will engage in repairing activity. The members have to pair up before the cleaning and repairing activities are revealed, the pairs cannot be changed after the activity will be revealed. (assuming patriarchy driven society, the cleaning activities will be taken up by females and the repairing activities will be taken up by the males of the family)
Time limit - 5 mins

REPAIRING ACTIVITIES
- Fix a sticky, runny dough.
- Repair bland, saltless dal.
CLEANING ACTIVITIES
- Glow the bulb by connecting the battery to led using the wires provided.

- Clean the motherboard and use the correct screwdriver to loosen/tighten."
