The early folk were resilient humans ensuring the survival of the species while protecting themselves from other animals and forces of nature.

They were hunting, gathering and moving around in clans. Children played with smaller versions of adult weapons and tools while honing their own skills. They learnt from other children and it really took an entire tribe to raise a child.

​

The clan participated in rituals together, fostering community spirit. There was a lot of music, dance and skin contact involved! Parents were present (more so than today) and play was largely activity based.
